IMMIGRATION activists in Los Angeles are currently “occupying” the sidewalk on the north side of the Federal building at Los Angeles Street in downtown Los Angeles. The building houses the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USIS). The protest is particularly directed against the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE). The “occupation is ongoing” as the activists vowed to stay in the area as “long as the violence and injustice perpetrated by ICE agents continue.” Protesters are occupying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities across the country.
