“Palit Bote” program launched in QC

A Quezon City Police Department officer collects his reusable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle from Committee on Parks and Environment Chairman and Councilor Elizabeth Delarmente and Environmental Protection and Waste Management Department (EPWMD) chief Frederika Rentoy after turning over spent single-use water plastic bottles. Quezon City launched its “palit-bote” program August 31 at the QC Hall Materials Recovery Facility. Every Friday, EPWMD will trade reusable water bottles for every kilo of used PET bottles at the facility.
