THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said reblocking and road repairs will be conducted along España Boulevard in Manila for six weekends beginning Friday.
Acting MMDA General Manager Jose Arturo “Jojo” Garcia said contractors of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin their road repairs starting April 13 up to the 16th and will continue every weekend until the weekend of May 18 to 21.
One segment per lane along España Boulevard-westbound from Vicente G. Cruz to Arsenio H. Lacson Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at 10 pm on Fridays.
“Affected lane will be fully passable by 5 am on Mondays,” said Garcia.
The MMDA Traffic Engineering Center said entire road work will cover 166 meters stretch of España Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to avoid the said area and use alternative routes instead.
