With more women and children’s protection desks in every barangay, in addition to those at the police stations, we can address the vulnerabilities of women,” sabi pa ni Belmonte.

  1. Hi, I’m a single mother to a 9months old baby boy. Recently my boyfriend and I had an understanding that we should go on separate ways since we are arguing on allot of things. I asked him to make sure he will provide financial support for our son. He agreed to it, but as far as I know him, I know asking every at the end of the month for his support will be a hard time for me. I would like to know if it is possible to force or make him sign an agreement that he will give support at every end of the month? He currently living in Quezon City and working on a transport company is Cubao. Hopes someone will help by answering my query. Thank You!

  2. Good pm, Ms. Joy. You can file a complaint directly to the company where your boyfriend is working. Or you can file a case at your nearby Police station for “non-support” at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Women and Children Protection Desk. If you live in the same barangay as your boyfriend, you can also file a complaint there. After filing, wait for the barangay to summon your boyfriend for a mediation between you and your boyfriend. Thank you.
